Several types of hybridization are envisaged, such as the installation of automated auxiliary sails (already operational), parallel hybrid propulsion (already operational) or pitch energy (under development).
The association Avel Marine will buy a used coaster and hybridize it, then it will charter by a ship owner after definition of a specification.
